"Seducing the Art Student" - the Short Version


 OK, so briefly - Bridget Cashman is a stressed-out accountant who gets let down by a deadbeat logo designer, and has to find a replacement designer, like, stat. On top of that, it's Friday, and she's beat. She goes home to unwind, then notices that there's an art show going on at the local college the next day. She figures she might meet someone who could design a logo for her.

She shows up the next day and dawdles around for a while, getting lost in her thoughts looking at the pictures and other artwork, which turns out to be good for her soul and mind. Suddenly, she snaps to attention and remembers why she came. She approaches a few artists and, after striking out a couple of times, stumbles across young, preppy, fresh-faced Caleb Boseman. They get chatting and he seems nice. When she offers money for him to make a logo by the end of the weekend, she worries whether she's asking too much. He tells her he's struggling with how to draw women. It occurs to her that he could take photos of her to solve this problem, so they agree to help each other out.

However, there are risks in exposing her body to this guy. What can she do to buy his silence and get what she wants?

Where I Got the Idea for "Competitive Cheerleader" From

Today I would like to talk about where I got the idea for "Competitive Cheerleader" from, in particular the rather run-down downtown community civic center where my protagonists, Angela and Patrick, get hot and heavy with each other. Near to my house is a sports center, a typical local council-run affair, with an outdoor swimming pool on the roof. Around the Olympic-sized swimming pool are slightly grim-looking cement or concrete stands with railings at the front, built for spectators to watch swimming races.
