Competitive Cheerleading


OK, so now let's move onto the second book of cheerleading erotica short stories that I am currently writing! This one is about the sport of competitive cheerleading, as opposed to the kind of university football team cheerleading that you would normally think of when you think of "cheerleading" as a concept.

A lot of people don't actually know about this at all. Many think that college or school cheerleading is all there is to know, and are completely unaware of any competitive aspect between cheerleading squads, or that there might be organized competitions where different squads can perform against each other and win a prize.

Well, guess what? There is, and my second book of cheerleader erotica is about exactly that. One of the major differences about competitive cheerleading is that men's teams can also compete, so it's not only about hot babes in short skirts with pom-poms. I factor this into the short story, too.

So let's get up close and personal with this sport, since it is going to be the main driver of the second short story, and will impact my heroine, Angela, in new and exciting ways. Fascinated yet? If so, let's get started!

Where I Got the Idea for "Competitive Cheerleader" From

Today I would like to talk about where I got the idea for "Competitive Cheerleader" from, in particular the rather run-down downtown community civic center where my protagonists, Angela and Patrick, get hot and heavy with each other. Near to my house is a sports center, a typical local council-run affair, with an outdoor swimming pool on the roof. Around the Olympic-sized swimming pool are slightly grim-looking cement or concrete stands with railings at the front, built for spectators to watch swimming races. Every time I have ever swum there, the stands are completely empty, and rather forlorn-looking, as if their glory days are something that belong to the past. My local sports center is still popular and lots of ordinary people use it, but it is by no means exclusive in any way - the gym used to have equipment that had seen better days, the aerobics place doubles as a municipal mini-arena for all sorts of local events, and, as well, there is a dance hall for Latin American...
