The Underlying Sexual Tension of Modelling
So, I have a confession to make. In my novel, "Seducing the Neighbor", there is a spectacular and very long group sex scene between the lead character and three of her models.
The fact is, among models, there is an underlying sexual tension to that line of work. Now, I'm not talking about the dreadful #MeToo situation of the industry, the sexual exploitation, harassment, abuse and even rape that goes on within it. If I did, that would make my novel a very serious one indeed, and not at all sexy, or even romantic. No thanks, not interested!
No, what I mean is the situation where models are constantly being told how gorgeous and beautiful and sexy they are, where they are hired based on their beauty, lauded for their looks, told that their bodies are incredible. Coupled with the scariness that goes with worrying that you might get abused, this leads models to hang out and stick together.
Not all models have each other's backs; nevertheless, there is a shared understanding that this is the common experience of all of them. It can be sometimes more of a burden to be beautiful, than an asset; and this causes stress. This stress can be relieved - at least sometimes - when models find themselves on the same photoshoot or video and have to hole up in a hotel overnight in some faraway place where they know nobody. It's then when sexy things can happen between them.
I don't think models are naturally lesbian or bisexual; but the underlying sexual tension of being told you're hot all day can work up a thirst that needs quenching, and sometimes it's easier for us to get with each other than hope for a man to give us some friction.
That is the background, then, to the hot foursome scene I include in this novel. I'm very happy that I wrote it, since it allows me to express myself, too. I hope that, should you purchase this novel, you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
