"Seducing the Gardener" - the Cliff Notes Version

 "Cliff Notes" means a summary, so let's do it!

Daphne Everson works in downtown Summerville, South Carolina, USA. With a new house in the suburbs, some women she calls friends and a boyfriend to go with them, she's pleased with her life so far and the achievements she has made.

However, things take a turn for the worst when she becomes restless under her controlling boyfriend, and wants out. They have a row and split up, but not before he threatens her with violence.

On a day and time of his choosing, her boyfriend shows up on her doorstep and tries to push his way into her house. After a brief verbal altercation, things begin to look a bit serious for Daphne. Just then, Raymond, her boyfriend, is interrupted by Eddie Dalton, the gardener Daphne hired months earlier, who is out in the garden. Eddie calls Raymond away from the door, who is rude and abusive towards Eddie. One thing leads to another and they end up in fisticuffs with one another. The police are called and Raymond ends up the worse off.

After that, Daphne feels grateful towards Eddie and she asks him to show up on a daily basis to keep her safe from any further reprisals from Raymond. It is then when she first sees his gorgeous body and begins to make a plan to seduce her gardener!
